On behalf of our Centre Director (Prof Guan Heng Yeoh), Deputy Director (Prof Chun Hui Wang), and Centre Manager (Dr Anthony Chun Yin Yuen), it is our great pleasure to invite you to the official launch of the ARC Training Centre in Fire Retardant Materials and Safety Technolgies on Tuesday 2 July 2019.
We will also be hosting a workshop prior to the launch event on Monday 1 July 2019. We anticipate that the workshop will be attended by approximately 100+ delegates. This will be an excellent opportunity to hold the launch event of the Centre in the presence of our key collaborators and partners from Australia and overseas. This event, to be attended by the Minister for Education and Training (or their delegate) and the CEO of the Australian Research Council (ARC), will bring together the Training Centre’s outstanding team of 39 Chief and Partner Investigators from 27 organisations from Australia, Hong Kong, China, UK and USA.
You will have the opportunity to network with your colleagues in this field and with industry partners, as well as see the research laboratories of the Centre. Drinks and nibbles will be provided, followed by a lunch networking section after the main event.
