Epoxy resin is one of the widely used polymers in our life. But the high flammability limits its application. The aim of this research project is to design and prepare eco-friendly flame retardant to improve flame retardancy of epoxy resin. Based on the deeper understand about flame retardant mechanism with MD modelling, a novel green flame retardant will be developed and improved. The advantages of this material are obvious. It truly green, economical, and scalable.
